chocolate brownie! The first craving on difficult days and the celebration for
good ones. Even though sometimes it is not clear if we are looking for a
chocolate cake or a chocolate souffle... Here we will post reviews and tips

2014: Le Bistro, Budapest
The green
and quiet peninsula of Kopaszi Gát, in south Buda side, is perfect for a sunny
day. Far enough from the city, yet still easy to reach (bus 103 to Pázmány
Péter sétány): you just need a towel and a book, and some inspiration to put
your legs in the Danube - the water is not exactly clean and inviting. Lots of
kiosks offer bites and drinks and pretty restaurants spread their
mouth-watering scents. We were looking for a brownie and we found it at Le Bistro: a polite waiter welcomed us to a wide and terrace overlooking the quiet
side of the Danube. During our short wait we sipped dark beer and super fresh
and natural lemonade. The brownie comes as two triangular slices of chocolate
cake, at the perfect degree between softness and thickness, covered in pudding
chocolate sauce and almond slices, plus vanilla ice cream slowly melting and
refreshing your mouth.
Price 1200 HUF plus drinks.
